Jim Casey represented the successful one-of-a-kind marketing and sale of our home closing in October 2015. The Rock House, the first residential Burbank Landmark designated in 2009 has been the center of much dialogue and controversy about market values involving historical properties in Burbank. Putting this controversy to rest, Jim is the sole realtor in Burbank to sell landmarked residences, the Rock House being the second to sell, and both historic homes sold above asking price. Jim has extended his expertise beyond the frame of knowledge typical for most realtors with a distinctive ability to identify and market the value of not only the property itself, but also the unique financial returns for a potential historic home buyer over time. Not only is he a commissioner on the Burbank Heritage Commission but he is the only Burbank realtor who has taken advantage of the Burbank Planning Department’s landmarking program training. Since that training several years ago, he has become the expert on landmarking processes and associated programs in relationship to real estate transactions. During the sale, Jim had the uncommon ability to fairly represent both the seller and the buyer offering options that would bring equitable and financial benefit to both parties resulting in a timely closing. And when all is said and done, Jim is completely and personally dedicated to the individual needs of his clients.
